Access Control using Facial Biometrics
Utilise facial biometric matching to manage access control, mark attendance, user identification and other such activities.
Capture facial bio-metric data from approved identity cards OR identity sources like Aadhar Card / Driving Licence / Voter Identity Card / Passport / Social Security Card / Company Identity Card / School College Identity Card etc., Identify the source document and compare with actual persons image and give access approval.
Matching thresholds can be defined from 50% to 85% or 90% depending on the criticality of access control and application.
Use Cases:
Visitor Management
Approved user can share an identity registration link to the visitor on mobile, the visitor can register by uploading one of the approved identity cards and the entry approver can then approve the entry.
The visitor can approach the entry turnstile, where a preapproved entry request is already there and visitor’s actual image is matched with pre-approved image data and entry is cleared.
Event Ticketing
Event goer’s can preregister themselves on registration link, with approved documents and entry can be approved at the turnstile by comparing the actual image and registered image of the user.
Attendance Management: Open Site Work Locations / Educational Institutions can utilise facial biometrics for attendance management, the users can present themselves at attendance Kiosks and their attendance can be captured or the user can upload a geotagged self image to confirm attendance.
